Job summary

TEEMA is recruiting a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for inmates in a California correctional facility. The role covers day and night shifts, medication administration, monitoring, and strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Ideal candidates hold current RN licensure with BLS, and have experience in corrections healthcare or high-security settings. You will collaborate with correctional staff, maintain confidential records, and contribute to performance metrics

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure and BLS certification.
• Experience in corrections healthcare or high-security facilities preferred.
• Proficient medication administration and verification per orders.
• Ability to monitor vital signs, document changes, and escalating promptly.
• Infection control practices and safety protocol adherence.
• Crisis triage and emergency response skills within a correctional setting.
• Accurate confidential health record keeping and logs.
• Strong collaboration with correctional staff while maintaining patient safety.
• Demonstrated ability to meet performance metrics and care pipelines.
• On-site nursing supply management and equipment calibration.
