CoreCivic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our correctional healthcare team in Conneaut, Ohio. This staff position offers a competitive hourly wage and ongoing employment in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, triage with physicians, emergency procedures, and supervising licensed practical nursing staff. A nursing degree and current licensure are required, with a preference for one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a degree/diploma.
• Must possess current licensure in the state of employment.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to inmates/residents per professional standards.
• Attend sick calls with physicians and prepare examination lists and rooms.
• Assess new inmates/residents and refer to ER or other care as needed.
• Perform emergency procedures and notify the Licensed Independent Provider.
• Supervise and monitor nursing care by licensed or non-licensed staff.
