Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in Snow Hill, North Carolina to join a correctional healthcare team. The role focuses on direct patient care, medication administration, and EMR documentation in a secure setting.

The position requires an active NC RN license and 1+ year of recent RN experience. Enjoy competitive local pay of $53.00/hour, with travel pay options and stipends for qualified candidates. Evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM are available.

Qualifications

Active NC Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Minimum of 1+ year RN experience within the last 3 years.
Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from licensing board if required.
Copy of current certifications (BLS, N95 fit test) and immunization records.

Responsibilities

Assess patient health and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
Monitor progress and document assessments and outcomes.
Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other procedures within scope.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
