Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Waupun, Wisconsin, to provide correctional healthcare services. The role offers local pay and travel compensation with a dedicated care team in a secure facility.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, progress documentation, and patient education. Eligible candidates possess a WI RN license, BLS, and at least one year of relevant experience, with PSV compliance as required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Wisconsin nursing license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Copy of PSV or licensing verification as required by client.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments and outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other procedures within scope of practice.
