Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift in Dillwyn, VA. Local pay is 47.00/hour (W2). The RN will assess patients, administer medications, monitor progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires an active VA RN license and at least 1 year of recent nursing experience. A commitment to patient education, documentation, and adherence to safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
  • Minimum 1+ year recent RN experience (within last 3 years).
  • Copy of PSV or required certifications and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Registered Nurse– Dilwyn, VA Local Pay: 47.00/hour (W2)

Shift Details:

Night- 7.00pm - 7.30am

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
  • Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted VA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
  • Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents
