Responsibilities

Collect and process patient blood samples following safety protocols.

Verify patient identity and label specimens accurately to ensure traceability.

Follow all safety, confidentiality, and compliance policies at all times.

Meet daily/weekly collection targets and contribute to pipeline-based goals.

Demonstrate accountability for personal performance and contribute to overall performance metrics.

Record accurate data in the electronic health records system.

Communicate test status and any issues to supervisors and healthcare staff.

Participate in ongoing training to expand skills and prepare for advancement.

Document and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Maintain clean and organized phlebotomy area and equipment.

Assist with inventory management of phlebotomy supplies and order replenishments.

Support teamwork inquiries and collaborate with colleagues to optimize patient flow.

Experience/Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification or eligible, with basic blood collection training.
