Job summary

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office in Findlay, OH is hiring a Correction Officer to join the jail operations. You will receive and discharge inmates, perform booking procedures including fingerprinting and photographs, and maintain records using the jail management system.

Qualifications

• No felony convictions.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License/ID.
• Must pass extensive background investigation including social media monitoring and references.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Receive and discharge inmates and perform complete booking process.
• Perform searches for contraband during booking and release.
• Maintain routine records, reports and files; enter data into jail management software.
• Operate jail video review software and review footage of incidents.
• Use Microsoft Outlook for email communications.
