Job summary

PrimeCare Medical is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work in the Carroll County Department of Corrections in Ossipee, NH. The LPN will provide comprehensive nursing care under supervision of an RN and contribute to inmate health management.

The position offers an orientation period with on-the-job training, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and 401k with match. Prior correctional health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required to practice in the state of employment.
• Strong patient assessment and clinical skills are essential for daily inmate care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team under supervision.
• Experience in correctional healthcare delivery is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care under supervision of an RN.
• Maintain, update, and secure electronic medical records.
• Record, retrieve, and file medical information in inmate/patient medical records.
• Ensure accurate records of controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps.
