Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Food Instruction: Teach inmates food preparation, production, service, baking, and safe use of kitchen tools and equipment
• Sanitation Oversight: Inspect kitchen areas, equipment, and food items to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Kitchen Management: Review census and menu data, adjust recipes, recycle leftovers, and oversee storage of food and supplies using FIFO procedures
• Work Coordination: Plan and review work assignments, complete evaluations, maintain records, and ensure custody of inmates
• Operational Support: Requisition supplies, maintain inventory, and perform related duties to support daily food service functions
