Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network is seeking an Operations team member to support commissary services in a jail setting. The role involves delivering product to canteens, assisting with inventories, and upholding safety and ACA/JCA standards in a correctional facility.

The position requires interaction with inmates, daily use of MS Office tools, and a strong customer-service mindset. Expect Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Self-starter who can work with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering product to canteens at correctional facilities under officer supervision, following all rules.
• Assist onsite manager with monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain areas/equipment in a neat, clean, orderly manner and follow standards/guidelines.
• Attend orientation and training, and stay current in required certifications.
• Follow all policies and procedures; take pride in a clean workspace.
• Other duties as needed by the business.
• Must have good customer service skills and experience with Excel and Word.
• Must be able to work outdoors.
