State of Washington's Department of Corrections is seeking a Corrections and Custody Officer 2 for non-permanent, 12-month transport duties in Everett. The role involves transporting offenders, verifying identities, conducting searches, and documenting transports with a focus on safety.

Non-Permanent - 12 Months Expected
The Department of Corrections (DOC) has two, non-permanent, full time Corrections and Custody Officer 2 (CO2) - Transport openings available in the Transportation Unit. These positions are located in Everett, WA. These openings are only available to current DOC employees. These positions are expected to last 12 months, The work schedule for these positions is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor. This position contributes to the Department of Corrections (DOC) mission to improve public safety by securely, safely, and humanely transporting incarcerated and/or supervised male and female individuals to and from prison facilities, work release facilities, field offices, jails, and other secure holding facilities (including out-of-state locations) as directed by the Department and/or other criminal justice partners.
