Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Commissary Worker in Sacramento, CA to receive and process stock, prepare and deliver orders for inmates, and conduct inventory and quality checks. The role requires physical work and the ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities include transfers from the warehouse, inspecting items for quality, and packaging according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transfers of products and/or merchandise from the warehouse.
• Receives products and merchandise, checks for quality and damage, and stores delivered items properly.
• Operates equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Performs physical inventory as needed.
• Processes requests for supplies and prepares merchandise for delivery according to procedures.
