Location: Dixon Correctional Institute, Jackson, LA

Position: This position will be filled by detail of a permanent classified employee of LA DPS&C – Corrections Services (Adult DOC). It may be filled as a promotion.

Exams and License Requirements

• No Civil Service test score required.
• Qualifying experience based on college credit/college hours must be verified with transcripts.
• Failure to provide experience details may result in disqualification.

Minimum Qualifications

• Four years supervisory experience in a correctional or penal facility plus one of the following: six years full-time experience in any field or a bachelor's degree.
• Alternatively, a master's degree with three years supervisory experience or a doctorate with two years supervisory experience.
