Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with Georgia P.O.S.T. certification.
• Two years of supervisory custodial experience in a criminal justice or correctional system, one year at the lower level CSM Correctional Lieutenant or equivalent; or one year at the lower level CSM Correctional Captain or equivalent.
• Preferred: one year of directing through subordinate managers in a state correctional facility or two years in a correctional setting outside GDC, or an undergraduate degree in criminal justice or related field.
