Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Non-Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to join the team at Northwest Correctional Complex located in Tiptonville, Tennessee.

The counselor coordinates all substance abuse program activities, including intake, assessment, treatment planning, and group and individual counseling within a correctional setting. Experience in this field and the ability to pass a security background clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Substance Abuse Counseling preferred.
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred.
• Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake, assessment, treatment planning and program activities for substance abuse in a correctional setting.
• Provide group and individual counseling to inmates.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with security and clinical guidelines.
