Job summary

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Lebanon County Prison medical unit in Lebanon, PA. RNs will deliver comprehensive nursing care under supervision, perform vital assessments, and support physicians, psychiatrists, and dentists in a correctional healthcare setting.

Shifts include FT Day, PT Day, FT Eve, and PT Night with orientation and on-the-job training. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, 401k, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• PA RN license or compact license is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple patient needs.
• Strong patient assessment skills and clinical judgment.
• Effective communication with patients and team members.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates in the medical unit and/or mental health unit.
• Take vital signs and conduct complete assessments; document findings.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans to promote patient well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and sharps in accordance with laws.
• Conduct sick call and provide provisional diagnosis and basic treatment for minor illnesses.
• Ensure proper dissemination of information to appropriate personnel.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress and nursing care plans.
• Provide health counseling and support to inmates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or administrator.
