Responsibilities include medication management, emergency response, and patient education, within a 12-hour shift in a secure facility. Requires TX RN license and BLS/CPR.

Qualifikationen

• Associate of Science in Nursing Degree is required.
• Currently licensed RN in the State of Texas.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for inmate-patients.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Triage sick calls and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with medical and mental health providers.
• Administer emergency medications and perform CPR/AED as needed.
• Manage medications per provider orders and document in the EMR.
• Maintain nursing documentation in SOAP format.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform CLIA-waived tests.
