Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) for an onsite role in Columbia, SC. You will provide essential healthcare to incarcerated patients, perform assessments, administer meds, and respond to emergencies within a secure facility.

The position includes day and night shifts, every other weekend, and a 37.5-hour week on three 13-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch. Requires SC RN license and BLS; prior correctional or acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active South Carolina RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• TB test completed within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and treatments with proper storage and documentation.
• Monitor chronic and acute conditions and coordinate higher-level care.
• Maintain medical records compliant with regulations and facility standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and custody staff to support patient care.
