Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to work with incarcerated individuals per DOC mission.
• Overtime availability up to 16 hours per day.
• No degree required; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personal safety and the safety of staff and incarcerated individuals.
• Monitor assigned areas for security, counts, and grounds security.
• Follow and ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Escort incarcerated individuals to and from various locations.
• Keep records and report movements, activities, and violations.
• Workday attendance at assigned worksites is essential.
