Job summary

CoreCivic is hiring a Correctional Officer in Georgia (Alamo) with a pay rate of $22.03 per hour and a salary range of $45,000–$60,000 per year. The role involves security, care and supervision of inmates in a correctional facility, with duties across housing units, meals, recreation and work assignments.

We offer 401K, paid time off, healthcare programs, and paid training. You must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to work any shift.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
• We train you to be successful: Paid training, and where applicable, be a non-commissioned security officer licensed by the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• You must be able to work any shift, as you may be assigned to a variety of posts including, but not limited to, armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.
