• One year of corrections experience for Correctional Officer II is desired.

Responsibilities

• Correctional Officer I is a trainee, learning custody procedures, control and counseling of incarcerated persons under close supervision.
• Correctional Officer II is the fully qualified working level and operates independently within department guidelines.
