Job summary

Georgia Department of Corrections is hiring Corrections Officers to maintain custody and security of prisoners and to enforce institutional policies within correctional facilities. Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED and any training/experience meeting POST standards.
• Ability to enforce institutional policies, rules and public safety requirements.
• Capable of supervising and escorting offenders and managing custody effectively.
