Qualifications
- Must have and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state of employment.
- Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a corrections environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides medical care to inmates including exams and chronic care clinics.
- Maintains accurate documentation in SOAP format.
- Responds to emergencies and makes decisions on referrals.
