Job summary

Management & Training Corporation Graceville Correctional Facility in Graceville, FL seeks a Clinical Psychologist to lead mental health services for inmates under ACA standards.

You will supervise mental health professionals, coordinate psychological programs, and ensure ethical practice while working with administration and external providers. Florida licensure, CPR, and 5 years of clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in psychology and Florida licensure required.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience, two in a comparable position.
• Current CPR certification and valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support health services team in delivering quality patient services and facility policies.
• Possess extensive knowledge of correctional mental health services, ACA standards, and policies.
• Promote patient advocacy and maintain ethical practice.
• Develop quality assurance indicators using incident reports and guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and committees.
• Monitor mental health care delivery; audit records and prepare monthly reports.
• Monitor catastrophic events and perform utilization review.
• Recommend improvements for services and staff utilization.
• Develop corrective action plans for compliance thresholds.
• Suggest ways to improve efficiency and cost of health-related services.
