Job summary

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) seeks a Materials and Stores Supervisor I (Correctional Facility) in Lancaster, CA. You will oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and shipping of a variety of supplies, while supervising incarcerated workers and providing training and performance appraisals.

In-office position with 12-month limited term contract. Salary $4,214.00–$5,518.00 per month, effective PLP 2025 pay adjustments noted; final filing date 9/15/2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, receipt, storage and shipping of supplies.
• Ability to supervise incarcerated workers and provide training.
• Familiarity with BIS and regulatory requirements for ordering and receiving stock.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue and ship a volume of supplies.
• Supervise, train and instruct incarcerated workers in their area.
• Maintain inventory records and perform regular appraisals.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Estimate future demand and place orders to meet needs.
