Job summary

The State of California's California Health Care Facility in Stockton, CA is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian, CF to deliver medical nutrition therapy to incarcerated patients and oversee dietary plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian in good standing.
• Must pass CalCareers examination to obtain list eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients in a correctional health care facility.
• Plans and organizes dietary activity and provides medical nutritional therapy; writes and reviews menus; authorizes substitutions or modifications of special diets.
• Serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT).
• Maintains order and supervises the conduct of the incarcerated, and protects safety of persons and property.
