Qualifications

• Two years of full-time professional experience as a Dental Assistant, providing chair side assistance in General Dentistry or Oral Surgery to an adult population.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with routine and emergency dental care for inmates in a prison clinical setting.
• Ensure daily clinic operations including scheduling, tool control, infection control, hazardous waste and radiation control practices.
• Obtain digital x-rays and set up restorative procedures; sterilize instruments and equipment; maintain cleanliness of the dental clinic.
