Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Greenville, VA is seeking a qualified Counselor for the CCAP program. The role offers a full-time schedule Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with a $5,000 signing bonus and eligibility for certifications such as CSAC within two years.

You will conduct assessments, facilitate groups, provide individual counseling, and maintain clinical records per Spectrum standards, while guiding participants toward personal growth and community reintegration.

Qualifications

• CSAC certification or VA equivalent within two years of signing.
• Experience in correctional or secure environments is preferred.
• Strong counseling and group facilitation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans within established timeframes.
• Facilitate psycho-educational and process groups as defined by the curriculum.
• Provide individual counseling and document sessions per policies and Spectrum standards.
• Maintain clinical records in accordance with contractual and Spectrum standards.
