Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, WY. We offer Full Time, Part Time, and PRN positions with new pay rates for CNAs for full-time employees.

As a Correctional CNA, you will work under a registered nurse alongside correctional officers to deliver care in a controlled environment, performing duties from patient assessments to ADLs and supporting physicians. This role includes growth opportunities within NaphCare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Current Wyoming CNA certification in good standing.
• Be able to obtain BLS CPR certification (AHA required).
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and taking health histories.
• Take vital signs including BP, temperature, respiration and weight.
• Document medical history and medications.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility.
• Provide basic wound care, simple lab tests and patient education.
• Observe and report changes to nurses.
