Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CF) at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, CA. Under the supervision of the SRN II/III and RN, the CNA performs basic nursing care and supports daily living activities for patients in multiple treatment settings.

The candidate must hold a valid Nursing Assistant Certificate from the CDPH and meet other state qualifications. HAM pay rate is noted with PLP 2025 adjustments; communication is mainly via email.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Nursing Assistant Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health.
• California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 172 describes general qualifications.
• A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities and related nonprofessional health care tasks for patients in various treatment facilities and health care settings.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and ensures patient safety.
• Addresses ongoing needs of patients and promotes efficient use of health care resources.
