This position is located at Piedmont Correctional Institution in Salisbury, N.C. (Rowan County), a medium-security male prison housing 800 inmates.
The role involves managing a caseload of inmates, providing supportive counseling, conducting assessments, developing case plans, addressing inmate questions and issues, and making recommendations to the classification committee. Employees also assist with or coordinate major rehabilitation programs such as inmate work assignments, work release, education, recreation, and transition planning, including re-entry into the community.
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with State Benefits.

Effective January 1, 2025, the salary range will be $35,984.00 - $62,971.00, following new adjustments approved by the State Human Resources Commission.
