We have a mission that matters!**Description of Work**Reporting to a Correctional Programs Supervisor at a multi-custody female correctional facility, this position provides case management services to an assigned caseload of offenders. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Performing regular periodic classification reviews, needs assessments, plans, job assignments, program referrals and regular scheduled one-on-one contact for the purposes of correctional and/or motivational counseling. 2. Providing transitional information, assisting with housing and recommendations for the classification upon offender review and assisting with onsite activities. 3. Communicating effectively with other staff, offenders, and the general public. 4. Working under stressful conditions caused by direct contact with incarcerated offenders, who can become physically violent and verbally abusive, being capable of defending oneself against attack and performing crisis interventions to include suicide prevention. 5. Preparing written reports which accurately reflect data reviewed by various sources, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating various documents and behavior data gathered from interviews, written documentation, and personal observation. 6.
