Job description

Correction Officer Trainees are required to participate in, and satisfactorily complete, requirements of a 12-month training program before advancing to Correction Officer. As part of the program, you will attend the Correctional Services Training Academy for a minimum eight‑week formal training program.

Correction Officers are responsible for the custody and security, as well as for the safety and well‑being of incarcerated individuals in state correctional facilities, shock incarceration correctional facilities, work release centers and a drug treatment campus.

• Salary range includes a $5,000 annual geographic pay differential.
