Job summary

U.S. Bank in Saint Paul, MN is hiring a Corporate Trust Financial Management Analyst to support the Global Corporate Trust Escrow line. Responsibilities include cash and asset management, valuation of assets and collateral, and proper funding in line with governing trust documents.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with in-office expectations and remote days. Requires 2–3 years of related experience and an Associate's degree or technical education, plus strong Excel and trust accounting

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical education or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to three years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of investments, accounting transactions, and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Uses contractual documents, along with internal control mechanisms, to interpret the amount and timing of cash and asset movements
  • Prepares trust accounting system (SWP) entries, reconciles accounts, maintains account from inception until termination, and other account transaction duties
  • Interacts with specialized units to provide meaningful quality measurements to relationship specialists to ensure that cash and asset management procedures are followed and document legal requirements are met
  • Daily direct customer interaction via phone and email
  • Works in a fast paced individualized environment
  • Reads and interprets governing documents as well as analyzes what functionality we are required to adhere to
  • Having the flexibility on work hours when work calls for it with short notice

Job Description

U.S. Bank is hiring a Corporate Trust Financial Management Analyst to support our Global Corporate Trust Escrow business line and is responsible for cash and asset management of trust accounts including monitoring and investment of balances, valuations of assets and collateral, and proper funding of accounts in compliance with governing trust documents.

Additional Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or technical education, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of related experience
Skills/Experience
  • Working knowledge of investments, accounting transactions, and client service
  • Ability to review and interpret contractual documents to decipher all aspects of cash and asset transactions relating to the account
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations which can include percentages and pro rata breakdowns
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Excel
  • Systems experience with Trust Accounting systems preferred
Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $64,855.00 - $76,300.00
