Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic initiatives across corporate treasury involving cross-functional teams through all stages of a project lifecycle: project initiation and scoping, definition of plans, setting and managing expectations, business analysis and requirements definition, testing and implementation including user acceptance testing, ongoing project management and quality assurance.
  • Help ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress using tools like Smartsheet, Confluence and JIRA.
  • Track, report and escalate issues to management as needed; establish and maintain relationships with cross divisional stakeholders.
  • Help subject matter experts develop business requirements documents or user stories and translate requirements into deliverables using waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Detect, manage, and mitigate project issues and risks, and provide timely updates to management.
  • Assist in preparing project materials for peer and senior audiences with appropriate level of detail.

Job description

Corporate Treasury plays a central role in the firm's overall strategy with responsibility for providing appropriate funding to support all firmwide activity while maximizing net interest income. The division raises funding and capital via public and private markets, allocates financial resources to facilitate client activity and strategic initiatives, and dynamically manages the firm's asset-liability risk and liquidity portfolio. Corporate Treasury actively engages with public and private capital markets, ratings agencies, regulatory agencies, and internally with the firm's business lines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders including leadership of the firm's business lines, its creditors, regulators and external counter parties.

Job Duties:

    • Business analysis and requirements definition
    • Testing and implementation, in particular user acceptance testing
    • Ongoing project management and quality assurance throughout the project
  • Help ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress; leveraging tools such as Smartsheet, Confluence and JIRA
  • Track, report and escalase issues to management as needed;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with cross divisional stakeholders
  • Help subject matter experts develop business requirements documents or user stories and translate requirements into project deliverables and measures of success, using both waterfall and agile methodology
  • Detect, manage, and escape project issues and risks, execute mitigation plans and take corrective measures as necessary while providing timely updates to management
  • Assist in preparing project-related materials for peer and senior audiences; communicate effectively using the right format and level of detail appropriate for the given audience
  • Help in ensuring alignment of Corporate Treasury strategic priorities to program pipeline; manage the delivery of multi-year programs as part of the overall strategic vision by planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling initiatives using appropriate tools and techniques
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in in Business, Economics, Finance, Management or a relevant field and

Three (0-3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role OR

Special Skills and/or Licenses Required to Perform the Job:
  • Good to have experience with Project Management, including experience identifying and managing stakeholders, articulating problem statements; working with subject matter experts to agree on requirements/targeted solution; breaking action plan into milestones that can be tracked in order to meet desired solution on time; leading project execution, integration, implementation and testing; and ensuring project governance is in place through reporting and regular communication.
  • Good to have experience with working on projects within the finance industry
  • Must have 0-2 years of experience with communicating effectively to multiple stakeholders within the project management lifecycle, including experience presenting to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
