Job summary

ALTOUR, a division of Internova Travel Group, seeks experienced Corporate Travel Consultants to deliver best-in-class travel consultation, quote and book domestic and international travel, car and hotel reservations, while adhering to corporate travel policies.

The ideal candidate will have Sabre GDS mastery, exceptional customer service, and strong English communication skills. Schedule is M-F ET with shifts such as 8-5, 9-6, 10-7, 11-8, or 12-9.

Qualifications

• Seasoned travel professional with corporate travel booking experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and policy compliance.
• Proficient in Sabre GDS and related tools (pricing, Smartpoint).
• Ability to manage multiple accounts with excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound corporate and government travel requests with accuracy.
• Provide consultative service and book domestic and international travel per policy.
• Secure competitive air/car/hotel rates using negotiated programs and GDS tools.
• Maintain productivity and quality metrics to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Support colleagues and lead by example within the team.

Responsibilities

Altour has an exciting opportunity for experienced Corporate Travel Consultants to work with a top client to offer best in class travel consultation, quote and book accurate domestic & international, car and hotel reservations, ensuring all corporate travel policies are followed. The ideal agent will have experience working in Sabre GDS and have excellent customer service and communications skills. The schedule is M-F with shifts ranging 8-5, 9-6, 10-7, 11-8 or 12-9 ET.

• Service inbound corporate and government travel requests.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service to all ALTOUR
  • Greet all clients with enthusiasm.
  • Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process.
  • Complete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all corporate travel policies are followed.
  • Follow applicable guidelines around Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act.
• Secure the lowest air/car/hotel rates available at time of booking.
  • Utilization of client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when applicable.
  • Utilize GDS low fare search capabilities.
• Maintain goal expectations in the following areas:
  • Productivity – measured by transactions per day.
  • Quality – minimal customer service issues.
• Customer experience – measured through call monitoring performance.

Qualifications

• 5 + years’ travel selling experience.
• 5 + years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry.
• Expert in international travel bookings and process
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
• Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach.
• Excellent travel industry knowledge.
• Mastery in Sabre GDS, formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing, Smartpoint.
• Corporate travel experience required.
• Excellent multitasking skills, and able to service multiple accounts at a high level of customer service.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral in English.
• Embrace change, adapt to new technologies and process.
