Job summary

CyberCoders in Hartford seeks a Corporate Associate Attorney with a strong transactional focus to join our business services practice. The role targets candidates with 3+ years handling complex corporate matters, including M&A experience, to support private company transactions and governance matters.

The attorney will draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, advise on governance, and mentor junior attorneys while collaborating with partners on sophisticated deals in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Sound judgement and a clear commitment to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements.
• Support and manage corporate transactions, including business formations, restructurings, and acquisitions.
• Assist with or lead M&A transactions, depending on experience level.
• Advise clients on general corporate governance and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on sophisticated transactional work.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through practical, business focused advice.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice and mentor junior attorneys as appropriate.
