Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Prior paralegal experience in corporate/securities matters preferred.
• Experience supporting business, corporate securities, or financial services matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file federal and state corporate and other regulatory filings.
• Assist with securities registration, licensing and exemption filings.
• Maintain compliance calendars, filing deadlines and regulatory tracking systems.
• Support attorneys with acquisition transactions by assisting in due diligence and document preparation.
• Organize and maintain corporate records including stock ledgers.
• Monitor updates to regulatory requirements and assist with internal tracking and reporting.

About the Position

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP is seeking a Corporate + Transactional Practice Group Paralegal to join our team.

The Corporate + Transactional Practice Group Paralegal supports attorneys in providing regulatory, transactional and compliance-related legal services to clients across a variety of industries, including financial services organizations, investment advisers, broker-dealers, nonprofit entities and closely held businesses. This role assists with regulatory filings, compliance program support, corporate governance matters and client service initiatives while ensuring accuracy, organization and responsiveness in a fast-paced legal environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, review and file federal and state corporate and other regulatory filings and related documentation


• Assist with securities registration, licensing and exemption filings


• Maintain compliance calendars, filing deadlines and regulatory tracking systems


• Support attorneys with acquisition transactions by assisting in due diligence and document preparation


• Organize and maintain corporate records including stock ledgers


• Monitor updates to regulatory requirements and assist with internal tracking and reporting

• Experienced with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel user
