Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions in Phoenix, AZ seeks a hands-on Tax Manager to take full ownership of the income tax function. You will lead the tax provision process for financial reporting, supervise return work, and coach a team of tax accountants.

You will also drive process improvement, controls, and tax-related initiatives, collaborating with internal and external auditors and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate.
• Strong federal, state, and local tax knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• CPA, Master's in Taxation, or industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

You'll also be accountable for continuously improving how the work gets done, including process design, quality, controls, risk, and service levels.
