Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, ASC 740 engagements, and client consulting for large multi-state and multinational companies.

You will manage client engagements, review tax returns (Form 1120), mentor staff, and build strong client relationships. This is a hybrid role with onsite work three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active California CPA or JD with an active license.
• 4+ years of corporate tax compliance and consulting experience.
• 1 year of Manager-level experience.
• Strong ASC 740 experience (prep, review, audit support).
• Experience reviewing Form 1120 and multi-state/nonprofit tax issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Review corporate income tax returns (Form 1120) and ASC 740 provisions.
• Research federal, state, and international tax issues.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of corporate tax compliance and consulting experience.

• Strong experience with ASC 740 (preparation, review, and audit support).
• Experience reviewing corporate tax returns (Form 1120).
• Recent public accounting experience with a Top 15 or large regional accounting firm.
• Experience supporting large multi-state, national, or multinational corporate clients.
• Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision.
• Knowledge of SALT, international taxation, and transfer pricing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
