Job summary

Deloitte’s Jersey Tax team is seeking an experienced tax professional to join a leading Channel Islands practice. You will develop client relationships, advise on local and international tax matters, and support multi-client portfolios with Partners and Directors.

Qualifications

• Experience in a practice firm.
• ICAEW or CTA qualifications, or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills - both written and oral.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Ability to exercise appropriate level of judgement.
• Drive and spirit to succeed and exceed client expectations.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment rapidly and to respond to clients appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop existing UK and international client relationships and cultivate new ones.
• Assist local organisations (funds, trust companies, banks) to comply with local and international tax requirements.
• Manage client billing, cash collection and profitability.
• Learn new skills and broaden tax knowledge.
• Lead a diverse team within an inclusive culture and recognise contribution.
• Support senior team members in communication, marketing and delivery of advisory services.
• Develop the technical and operational skills of junior team members.
