Job summary

CME Group, based in Chicago, is offering a year-round Corporate Tax internship for accounting majors. The program focuses on domestic and international tax areas, including compliance, research, planning and audit defense.

You will assist with returns, data gathering and project work. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree locally in Chicago, with strong Excel skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Qualifications

• Accounting major required.
• Basic college tax course a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Preference for students entering Sophomore year, though Juniors with relevant coursework or experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of corporate federal and state income tax returns.
• Gathering data for foreign informational reporting.
• Organizing information to be provided for federal and state income and sales tax audits, as well as other projects.
