  • High-growth organization with advancement opportunities!

  • Diverse, Collaborative, & Fun Work Environment!

About The Role

The Corporate Security Specialist serves as the primary subject matter expert responsible for developing, executing, and managing security programs within their assigned manufacturing facility or facilities. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role independently oversees physical security systems, designs comprehensive security audits, and leads complex corporate investigations. The Specialist collaborates directly with Operations, HR, Legal, and Safety leadership to mitigate organizational risk, protect enterprise assets, and ensure a safe, compliant operational environment. This is a dual-function, exempt role requiring advanced analytical desk work balanced with active field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Physical Security Systems & Surveillance Administration

    • System Optimization: Oversee the administration, functionality, and strategic utilization of enterprise CCTV, intrusion detection, and building alarm systems to ensure comprehensive site coverage.

    • Evidence Management: Direct the retrieval, preservation, and chain-of-custody protocols for video evidence required in high-stakes corporate investigations, legal proceedings, and compliance audits.

    • System Auditing: Analyze system health data and manage routine diagnostic audits to identify technical vulnerabilities, coordinating directly with external vendors for system upgrades and engineering solutions.

  • Access Control & Identity Management Strategy

    • Access Architecture: Manage the enterprise access control database, defining and configuring security clearance levels, access groups, and privilege parameters for employees, contractors, and visitors.

    • Risk Mitigation: Audit access control logs independently to detect anomalies, unauthorized entry attempts, or systemic compliance gaps.

    • Offboarding Governance: Partner with HR and IT to execute high-risk or immediate terminations, ensuring instantaneous revocation of physical credentials and facility access.

  • Security Risk Assessments & Audits

    • Vulnerability Analysis: Design and execute comprehensive facility security audits and physical vulnerability assessments across the manufacturing campus.

    • Strategic Mitigation: Analyze threat vectors regarding physical access points and surveillance gaps; formulate and implement corporate-approved improvements to minimize loss and liability.

  • Visitor, Contractor, & Asset Protection Governance

    • Program Oversight: Author and manage compliance frameworks for the facility’s visitor check-in, contractor vetting, and temporary badging programs.

    • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure third‑party contractors and facility guests adhere strictly to internal security protocols, proprietary information protection standards, and safety mandates.

    • Traffic Management Strategy: Overhaul and administer the facility vehicle policy, parking permit programs, and traffic safety enforcement strategies.

  • Corporate Investigations & Incident Management

    • Independent Investigations: Lead sensitive internal investigations into allegations of theft, asset loss, employee misconduct, policy violations, and workplace violence.

    • Evidence Analysis: Synthesize multi‑source evidence—including digital access logs, surveillance analytics, and eyewitness interviews to reconstruct complex incidents.

    • Executive Reporting: Author legally defensible investigative reports outlining root causes, factual findings, and strategic corrective actions for presentation to HR, Legal, and executive leadership.

  • Policy Development, Compliance, & Training

    • Policy Enforcement: Serve as the site authority on corporate safety and security compliance, ensuring operational practices align with corporate mandates.

    • Strategic Advisory: Act as the primary security consultant to HR and plant leadership during sensitive employee relations cases, workplace disputes, and compliance reviews.

    • Educational Programming: Design, develop, and deliver security awareness training modules and workplace violence prevention initiatives for facility personnel.

  • Metrics, Analytics, & Reporting

    • Data Analysis: Maintain, structure, and protect confidential security databases containing investigation files, risk assessments, and incident logs.

    • Trend Reporting: Analyze incident data to identify security trends, emerging risks, and operational inefficiencies, providing actionable intelligence and loss prevention insights to leadership.

  • Crisis Management & Business Continuity

    • Resiliency Planning: Formulate, maintain, and stress‑test the facility’s Business Continuity and Emergency Response Plans in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.

    • Incident Command Support: Serve as a key coordinator within the Incident Command structure during facility emergencies, managing communication protocols and post‑incident documentation.

    • Infrastructure Continuity: Manage the life‑cycle testing, maintenance schedules, and operational readiness of all emergency communication systems and safety assets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in corporate security, corporate investigations, asset protection, or loss prevention, ideally within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment.
