Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville, OH is hiring a Corporate Security Officer for the night shift to safeguard our campus. You will monitor alarms, patrol posts, and respond to incidents while applying JMS policies and coordinating with EMS and law enforcement as needed.

Responsibilities include first aid/CPR when required, documenting incidents, and maintaining surveillance across building and facilities on campus. Strong safety mindset and reliable on-site presence are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in security EMS military or law enforcement.
• Clean driving record over the past 5 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Operate as the night shift Security Officer to ensure proper surveillance of our corporate campus
• Apply JMS policies and procedures to security tasks and ensure the proper adherence to facility guidelines
• Coordinate emergency response with EMS/LE and responds to emergency situations using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response
• Conduct patrols at designated posts inside and outside of our corporate building and other facilities on campus
• Be available to provide First Aid/CPR when needed
• Monitors alarms and video surveillance systems
• Document and retain incident reports

Your Opportunity as the Corporate Security Officer

Provide top tier customer service and security to our corporate employees and guests at our Orrville Ohio campus. Become a steward of our Corporate Security Vision and Mission and while covering designated posts monitoring alarms and ensuring the safety of Smucker facilities.

Location: Orrville OH

Work Arrangements: full time onsite front half night shift

Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. EST

Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. EST

In this role you will:
