The US National Security Agency/Central Security Service seeks entry-level security professionals to join its Security and Counterintelligence program. Responsibilities include safeguarding information, people, and facilities worldwide through physical security systems and procedures.

Security and Counterintelligence is responsible for the protection of NSA/CSS information, people, and facilities worldwide. In support of this mission, Security personnel oversee the development, installation, and maintenance of physical security systems. Security personnel help maintain integral elements of an overall security theory, posture, and infrastructure designed to efficiently deter, delay, detect and identify threats to NSA people, resources and facilities.
The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position.
Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following: physical security, anti-terrorism force protection, conducting risk assessments, inspections, investigating/adjudicating security or counterintelligence (CI) investigations, other security/law enforcement related fields (for example, special agent or police officer, personnel security, facilities project management/oversight), emergency management or emergency response.
Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and no experience.
Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience.
