Summary/Objective

The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the company's quality strategy across multiple manufacturing facilities producing precision industrial tooling, machined components, heat-treated products, and aerospace components. This corporate level position ensures compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards while driving a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and defect prevention.

The Corporate Quality Manager partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Business Unit Leaders to ensure products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations while supporting business growth and profitability.

This position has direct oversight of the corporate Quality Management System (QMS), supplier quality, customer quality, metrology, inspection, laboratory functions, and quality personnel across all facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the corporate quality strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead quality organizations across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Establish standardized quality systems and best practices across all facilities.
  • Develop annual quality objectives, KPIs, and strategic improvement plans.
  • Build a culture emphasizing prevention, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop quality managers, engineers, supervisors, auditors, and technicians.
  • Maintain and continually improve company Quality Management Systems including: AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer specific requirements

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited information is available. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or quality engineering is preferred and at least 10+ years of quality leadership experience. Additionally, 5+ years of managing multi-site manufacturing quality organizations is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility

No direct report responsibility but does have dotted line or indirect management of Quality Managers across business units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
