Job summary

Plastipak invites you to a 12-week summer internship in our Corporate Quality Lab at our Plymouth, Michigan headquarters. You will work with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Production to conduct tests, compile data, and address real-world challenges, gaining hands-on experience with processes, testing methodologies, and data interpretation in a quality-driven setting.

The program includes a defined work plan, mentorship, and professional development activities designed to support your growth

Qualifications

• Pursuing a STEM bachelor's degree is required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is expected.
• Internal relocation to Plymouth, MI is not required, but commuting distance is considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Production to conduct tests and data collection.
• Analyze results and assist with process controls and quality improvement efforts.

As an Intern within our Corporate Quality Lab, you will work closely with the Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Production to conduct tests, compile data, and tackle real-world challenges. You will gain experience with the processes and protocols required to effectively operate an impactful Corporate Quality function. You'll have the opportunity to bring your textbooks to life and see the true importance of quantitative data, testing methodology, and process controls. In addition, you'll round out your internship experience with professional development and networking activities with leaders & professionals in your field.

This internship is 12-weeks from May 17 - August 6, 2027

WHO YOU ARE

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• Expecting to graduate in December 2027 or Spring 2028
• Achieving a minimum GPA of 3.0
• During the internship period, will be residing within a commutable distance to our corporate headquarters located in Plymouth, Michigan
• Eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship & will not require employer sponsorship after graduation
