We execute host-led volunteering experiences that are accessible, engaging, and impactful for the world's leading organizations like IBM, Amazon, ServiceNow - 60 of our 400+ customers today are from the Fortune 500 club. With a presence across 100+ countries, spanning 30+ languages, our volunteering programs are bringing people and purpose closer in every workplace - in-person, virtual, and hybrid.

In 2025, we engaged 450,000+ volunteers across 10,000+ events globally and our hosts were at the center of each experience.

We're looking for engaging Emcee/Event Hosts to lead corporate volunteering experiences end-to-end - from setup to facilitation to wrap-up - so volunteers leave energized and nonprofits feel truly supported. You'll join a global community of 2,000+ hosts and represent Goodera on the ground with warmth, confidence, and high attention to detail.

This role requires someone who thrives in front of people, thinks quickly on their feet, and genuinely loves creating memorable experiences.

đź’Ľ What You'll Do:
  • Manage setup and logistics: run materials and inventory check, prepare volunteer instructions, and contingency planning
  • Host and facilitate the volunteer event experience keeping energy high and instructions crystal clear.
  • Run the event flow: Introductions, check-in QR code, icebreaker, agenda, Impact Communications, transitions, timekeeping, engagement moments, calls to action and closing
  • Create a standout volunteer experience: make people feel welcome, included, and confident in what they're doing
  • Capture and share impact moments: photos/videos, volunteer quotes/testimonials, attendance notes, and short highlights for recap
  • Troubleshoot in real time: adapt quickly when plans shift, and keep the group calm and moving
You're a great fit if:
  • You genuinely enjoy public speaking and feel energized (not drained) when presenting to groups
  • You can read the room and adjust your approach based on the audience, whether they're quiet and hesitant or loud and enthusiastic
  • You're equally comfortable facilitating large groups (30-100 people) and connecting one‑on‑one with individual participants
  • You communicate clearly and concisely under pressure, making complex instructions easy to follow
⚡ You Have High-Energy Stage Presence
  • You can sustain your energy for 2-4 hours without letting the experience dip
  • You have a sense of fun and warmth that makes people feel comfortable and excited to participate
  • You can manage group dynamics: engage quiet participants, redirect talkative ones, and keep everyone on track
  • You're comfortable holding the room maintaining control and attention even with distractions
  • You can think on your feet: when tech fails, a partner is late, or the plan changes, you adapt seamlessly without visible stress
  • You maintain professionalism while keeping things lighthearted and approachable
  • Experience with public speaking or facilitation experience whether that's corporate events, workshops, trainings, community gatherings, performances or something similar.
  • Comfort leading events with a clear agenda and handling basic event logistics
  • Ability to manage unexpected challenges calmly and professionally
  • Strong people skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect with a range of participants
  • A friendly, confident presence that helps people feel comfortable, engaged & inspire trust.
  • Background in performance, entertainment, or facilitation: acting, comedy, improv, stand‑up, hosting, emceeing, teaching, or similar roles that require engaging an audience.
  • Comfort improvising and adapting when scripts or plans change.
Technical & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (event materials, supplies)
  • Ability to stand for 2-4 hours at a time
  • Reliable transportation to event venues within your city
  • Comfort helping set up and reset event spaces (tables, chairs, materials, etc.)
Language Requirements:
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
What We Offer
  • Flexible scheduling - choose the events you want to host based on your availability
  • Comprehensive training program with shadowing, mentorship, and ongoing development
  • Opportunities to work with global corporate teams and represent nonprofit partners making real impact
  • Professional development: build facilitation, public speaking, and event management skills
