The Document Control Manager is responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures for document control at Oklo. They will manage the entire lifecycle of documents within Oklo, ensuring that documents are accurately created, stored, tracked, and distributed in compliance with both internal standards and external regulations. This role involves overseeing the organization of digital records, implementing both document management and document control systems, and maintaining version control. This individual will work closely with departments across Oklo to ensure easy access to documents, handle revisions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. They will also support audits and assist in ensuring proper document retention and disposal according to established policies.
The Document Control Manager will also collaborate with project teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth communication and timely distribution of documents across departments. A key part of the role is maintaining accuracy, developing and improving document control processes, and implementing improvements to existing systems. This role will also involve direct intake of controlled documents and hands‑on implementation of the developed processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting the overall efficiency of the organization.
Oklo requires remote employees to travel to headquarters (Santa Clara, CA) twice a quarter annually, based on business or team needs, including attendance at team meetings, off‑sites, and other company events or gatherings. For the first two weeks of onboarding, employees are required to be in person at headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.

Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy. Oklo was the first to receive a site use permit from the U.S. Department of Energy for a commercial advanced fission plant, was awarded fuel material from Idaho National Laboratory, and submitted the first custom combined license application for an advanced reactor to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Oklo is also developing advanced fuel recycling technologies in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. National Laboratories.
