Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Corporate Director of Support Services-Facility Management to lead operational efforts across Environmental Services, Nutrition and Food Services, Facilities Management, and Clinical Engineering. This on-site role reports to the VP of Support Services in Little Rock, AR.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in hospital support services or facilities operations, with a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, engineering, facilities management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in hospital support services or facility operations.
• Experience managing multi-site operations or system-level initiatives preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for Environmental Services, Nutrition and Food Services, Facilities Management, and Clinical Engineering across the health system.
• Coordinate operational initiatives and ensure consistent performance with system strategies.
• Collaborate with hospital leaders and department managers to ensure reliable operations and regulatory compliance.

Corporate Director of Support Services-Facility Management

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and work as needed

Summary:

The Director of Support Services provides operational leadership for support service departments across the health system. Reporting to the Vice President of Support Services, this role is responsible for executing system strategies, coordinating operational initiatives, and ensuring consistent performance across Environmental Services, Nutrition and Food Services, Facilities Management, and Clinical Engineering. The Director works closely with hospital leaders and department managers to ensure reliable operations, regulatory compliance, and achievement of system performance goals.

Other information:

• 1. Education – Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, engineering, facilities management, business, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 2. Experience – 7+ years of experience in hospital support services or facility operations. Experience managing multi-site operations or system-level initiatives preferred. Strong operational leadership, performance management, and problem-solving skills.
• This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
